MINI Aceman – Explore The Concept & Design

MINI is developing a new MINI Cooper electric concept that may potentially be added to the lineup in the 2024 model year. The preview is a new design that is supposed to fit neatly in between the Cooper hatchback and Countryman subcompact SUV. It’s an innovative design that will provide the classic MINI agility. MINI Aceman: Unique Exterior Design Elements

The MINI Aceman concept features a unique set of design features, from the octagonal grille, and the matrix lights can wink at the driver and display the top half of the Union Jack flag. The rear lights also sport unique motifs, similar to that of the front. The model has rounded features with four doors and unique rim designs, and the capability to appeal to rugged crowds in the Loudoun County area. The roof rack even has a Union Jack flag design. 

MINI Aceman Concept: Interior Features & Tech

The Mini Aceman interior concept shows a circular infotainment screen, and a cloth dashboard with animations projected onto the dashboard through the “experience modes.” The interior is designed with cloth material, and the steering wheel will have velour wrapping. The interior colors displayed in the MINI Aceman concept uses recycled plastics and an iridescent PVD coating that creates a shimmering layer of a brilliant color spectrum. The lights continue when you open the door and get a rainbow of light illuminating the streets of DC Metro Area and Dulles Airport. All of which are paired with various soundscapes. 

A panoramic roof provides a spacious feel to the fun and colorful interior, and the floating center console adds into that spacious feeling as well as providing wireless charging. In lieu of a drive shaft, the MINI Cooper electric concept sports a toggle bar, integrating the parking brake, gear selection, start/stop function, experience modes and volume control from one clean bar located beneath the infotainment system.
