Paul Desimone
Paul AKA “Pauly D” is a NOVA native who spent 20 years in the Mortgage business before realizing his true calling was selling MINIs to the most awesome customers on the planet. He also loves to travel world wide, especially to the south of Portugal where the sand is hot, the water is cool, and the scenery is spectacular.
Robin L. Turner
Robin AKA “Wheezy”, our resident All-American and Olympic qualifier from Hampton, VA used to audit political campaigns, so be careful, nothing gets passed this one. When she’s not running circles around the Mini dealership, she enjoys scrapbooking and dancing the night away.
Tony Moorehead
Tony AKA “Papa Doc“ is a fun-loving Aquarius from the shores of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Before MINI, he spent time in the banking business and served as the Director of Admissions at Devry University. When he is not whipping around D.C. in a John Cooper Works, he flies back to Chicago for some sight-seeing and good eats.
Abraham Evans
Abraham AKA "Abe" hails from Cincinatti, OH but his loyalty lies with the Washington Nationals. He has been in the car business his whole life, starting with a manufacturing job out of Lincoln, Alabama. When he isn't catching games at FedEx Field or Nationals Park, he is banging out tunes on the drums and bowling with his league.
Joe Matz
Joe AKA “The Gator”, our very own iTunes producer, was born and raised in D.C. where he oversaw international proceedings in more than 27 countries before switching to the good life of selling MINIs. When he is not zooming around in his MINI convertible and writing music, he gets dirty fixing old cars like the 1962 Sabre he is working on now.
Steve Burger
Steve AKA “Mister”, is an ex-rocker of the band “Elites”, originally from Hungary. Before discovering the car business, he worked as a government consultant and spent much of his time playing golf. Today, he is a big history buff who loves going to the theater, don’t get him started talking about Les Miserable.
Marisa Howlette
Marisa AKA “Tiny Toons” was born in a small town south of Bridgewater, New Jersey but raised in Northern Virginia. She discovered her hippy nature while studying the human psyche in Boulder, CO. Her favorite hobbies are driving MINIs, dancing, traveling, and flinging herself down the snow-capped mountains of the West.
Casey Ackerman
Casey AKA "Family Guy" is the newest member of the MINI Team from Charleston, South Carolina. He is a proud member of the Air Force Reserves and a die hard fan of the Clemson tigers. When he's not test driving the JCWs, he practices the 3 S's of life: Surfing, Snowboarding, and Scuba-ing.
Shawn Peace
Shawn AKA "Peace" lived in Richmond, VA for 31 years before moving to the area. You know he loves MINIs because he has been with the company since he was a teenager. Here, he feels like the dealership is more like a family than a business. When he is not helping customers in the service drive, he is zooming around town on his Ducati.
