    "My MA Joe Matz was really great and very helpful. However your finance manager messed up big time which required me to return to the dealership and sign new paperwork. He had given me a 0% for 36 months financing and I had a signed contract. But I was contacted a couple of days later to say that I needed to find my own money because that program was not available on the Coupe. Eventually I was offered 1.9% financing and had to return to sign the new contract. No apology was offered by the finance manager for his mistake.     "I came in for the road worthiness inspection and learned I needed a new clutch. When I received my bill, there was $84 charge for motor oil despite the worthiness inspection's offer to "top off all vital fluids" for no additional charge. Thankfully, I got that removed. The offer also stated that there would be an 11% discount on all services done. However I was only discounted 10% and did not realize the offer was for 11% until I went home and checked my mail. There was an additional delay for other parts required to complete the repair. Since my car had the "honor" of being the first to have this tech bulletin work done, there was a learning curve on the part of all personnel concerned.     "My last and current service advisor is Shawn Peace. He is certainly a credit to MINI of Sterling. He has been wonderful to work with. He's very helpful, has ensured my service is second to none, kept me informed throughout the service (including status of work and progress of parts installations) of my MINI, when warranted let me know immediately if there were any potential cost impacts regarding the work being performed, and maintained the service schedule. He is very professional and easy to work with. I intend to always ask for Shawn to by my advisor each time I bring my MINI in for service. Based on my experience with Shawn to date, once my warranty runs out, I have no doubt he will only have my best interests in mind when servicing my MINI and not recommend unnecessary (and costly) repairs just to improve MINI of Sterling's bottom line (as unfortunately so many dealerships do). Shawn only recommends what is needed and ensures the best and most appropriate mechanics perform the work to his (and my) high standards. Kudos, Shawn!     "I came in for a routine inspection and oil change and was told to wait in the reception area. No problem, I figured it may take 30 minutes or so. An hour and a half later I still hadn't heard anything. Finally after two hours someone told me they were still working on it and I called my brother to come pick me up. My problem is not that it took so long, my problem is that there should have been communication within 40 minutes that I should find a ride home. The whole process took about half a day. Further, I asked about a window motor that I had been told months ago I needed to replace but the part was on backorder.     "this is a copy of an email that I sent and have no response to. I doubt you will post this to your website. Mr. Wesler, I am most disappointed with our appt on Monday at your dealership. I was not unhappy with the people or the service, they were great, it is your processes. This is a long story, but here goes. On the week of Christmas I came to your dealership to purchase a center armrest for my husbands 2011 Mini Clubman S. I purchased it for 307.95 minus 50.00 from a coupon that you had sent us. I asked at both the parts and service the price for having it installed. In parts they told me it would be 113 (it was about this amount) per hour and it would take 1 1/2 hrs. The service department told me about the same thing, and I made an appt for Monday morning as the armrest was a Christmas present. Thinking the install price was a bit high I went online looking for some quotes and ended up at YOUR website, http://www.shopminiusa.com/PRODUCT/277/ARMREST/?CenterId=23276, where it clearly states Mini Armrest, Installed $339.95. So my first question, after I wonder why it didn't come with the car, is why did no one at the dealership know about this offer and tell me? So on Monday we came in I explained the story to Steve, told him what is on the website and he told me to return the part, I went to parts, returned the armrest, they gave me back 273.35, the amount of the armrest minus the coupon. Had some difficulty getting them to honor the coupon again, but was finally successful. We went back to service and placed the order for them to install an armrest. I then left the dealership after explaining the situation to Parts, their cashier and Steve at service. My husband waited for the car. When I looked at the bill we were charged 307.95 for the armrest, 66.25 for the labor, minus the $50.00 coupon plus tax, which equaled 339.60. According to your website, we should have paid 339.95 minus $50.00 plus tax. This whole process was much more involved than it should have been and the bill was more than it should have been. I would like the difference between what I paid and the actual cost refunded to me in a check, It might be beneficial to train your employees on the items on your website and the prices. Our experience with your dealership prior to this have been good, This waste of time and energy on Monday has left me very angry. I look forward to my refund as soon as possible.     "I am unable to give a "5" rating this time around because my experience in the showroom waiting for my car to be finished in service was less than "exceptional". All of the seating for customers was taken and I had to ask at the reception desk where I could wait for my car. The receptionist stated that they didn't have anymore customer seating and I explained that I was not interested in standing up for possibly two hours while my car was in service. I had to ask if I could use some of the seating at one of the empty sales desks. Apparently there were lots of people waiting for their cars because there weren't enough loaner cars available that day.     "I brought my MINI in for its yearly service. I anticipated that more would have been done than just an oil change. The maintance reminder on the the MINI was changed to have me come back at 6k miles not 12k, not sure why.
